Thirty years later and going to university for the first time and realising I’m not dumb and I do have a brain. And it was the school that sucked that out of me”.

Mātauranga Innovation Hubs

“We are early in our journey, but I think the way that we are doing it is quite different and unique. We have flipped the model around on expectation where mana whenua come in, we take their time/ideas, and then they go back to their marae or wherever. So, we have tried here to flip that and take some responsibility through Tokona which is great. We should be leveraging these things, Tokona is there for a reason. It is still early days to make these calls.”
